Meatlug Character Design Sheet

Finally done with this~~ design commission for that's been in the works for a while- Meatlug required a different body type than I was used to drawing so I was nervous to try it out, but I had so much fun once I started! Meatlug was the most fun to draw so far, I think, I'm very happy with how she turned out ^^ Berba, you already paid me full price so I went ahead and posted this...if I need to fix something let me know =w='''

I looked at a few pictures of Meatlug, but I got a little confused because many were in different lightings, so I ended up going with a greyish-brown for her skin, and blonde seemed to suit her and it matched the two color schemes I kept seeing for the dragon form. Also I looked closely and I saw many multicolored scales all over dragon meatlug's body, not just the brown I expected, so that's why her scale freckles are like that Owo (they're mixes of purple, red, brown, and blue, it's confusing X'D) Super curly, wavy hair (with a braid of course~) to reflect the gonkle-bumps, plus the armor to reflect it more ^^ Her eyes were a brighter shade of gold, but...I got uncomfortable "Nort" vibes (hahahaha) so now they're a little more on the brown-orange side X''D Hope that all makes sense! More sense than her tiny wings, anyway...

On fullbody, she's holding some flowers that got lost in the messy sketch, so I colored them to make them easier to see And in case it's hard to read, it says "Messy hair, sometimes covers her eye" it's not like I was having issues with her other eye and just covered it, nu-uh, noooope '''' 

Bottom left sketch: HTTYD1 Meatlug. I'd imagine with their old queen she was actually quite scared of everything and wore her hood up often. Her hair is longer, messier, and covers her face even more. Eheh, all my HTTYD 1 versions are kind of sad, sorry, I just think it was a dark time for them  

Bottom right: Meatlug gives the best hugs Too bad Hiccup's so tiny and might have a few bones popped because of her X''D (Berba, your back references you gave me for Hiccup a while back are still so usefulll!!) 

Sorry I posted so suddenly instead of checking in with you like I usually do O.o Today's my day off and I want to get these out here while I can ^^ (you can actually set up your next batch of point commissions if you'd like; the Seph Riku commish is almost done too  ) Still, hope you like it~
