It's a lovely crossover where Riku from Kingdom Hearts meets Squirt (her characterisation of the dark Bewilderbeast from How to Train Your Dragon II), and frankly, when these kids could relate and help each other a little in their already tough lives...it made me happy
In this scene, Squirt is using his abilities as a "Dream Master" to check up on Riku's friends, Sora and Kairi (the "them" in the title") because Riku was very worried about them. Sad kids being sad 
Sorry I kinda embellished a little in the coloring, I love glowing effects >////> This was also me trying out a possible color scheme for Squirt in one of the commissions Raberba wants me to do ^v^ Tell me what you think girl! The pencil sketch will be posted later tied in with something else, sorry 'bout that. >3>
Riku belongs to Kingdom Hearts; Squirt belongs to How to Train Your Dragon, but his character development and name are Raberba's, annnd the tentative design is mine X'D

Summary: Two young boys - one forced into constant combat training, the other enslaved by a madman - have a chance encounter on Destiny Islands one afternoon. Platonic Riku / dark Bewilderbeast, with some platonic Sora/Riku/Kairi on the side.
A/N: Please read the A Small Addition to Berk's Flock chapter(s) of "The Dragon Queen of Berk," as well as His Soul Reflects My Own, before you read this. This fic is supposed to be a one-shot prequel to His Soul Reflects My Own: Freedom.

Awww, I loved the sketch, and I love colored things but I'd been going to tell you you didn't need to color this one, but I'm glad you did because it looks sooooo good colored! 83
Aw Squirt, the scars still make my want to cry...! *hugs bby* I really like the speckles, too! His skin color in canon is so complex, I like how that's reflected in this alternate version of the character.
Lol, I was going to say I love his hair, but I always say that. XD I do, though; I love how you draw hair. X3 I'm still really happy about the tips being a different color the way his mane-spikes are in canon!

The bandages on Riku's face and arm are a good touch, too. I know you usually do add bandages to a lot of your characters, but I especially like it in this picture because not only is it suggestive of Riku's lousy life with his family, but I also like how it indicates a connection to Squirt. Riku's not all pristine; his circumstances might be different as far as details go, but the boys can still relate to each other because they're both living in hardship. ;;
You said the pencil sketch will be part of the Squirt design commission, right? Or something?? Doesn't matter; I'm still glad you're planning to post it eventually! ^^ (I really liked the water dripping off of Squirt. XD)
