Last ink thing for now The teacher wanted us to draw what was home to us...me being the sap I am drew the important people in my life. I only feel at home when I feel safe...for a long time, that was me and my bubble of safety, my drawings, and my family. Still, as life went on, I met more people. Their lives connected to mine, and friendships blossomed in places I never thought were possible. They make me feel safe and loved, and that makes me feel more at home than anything. I still like my bubble, but my friends have brightened my world and have become very important parts of it. For that, I am very grateful...home really is where the heart is.
